Blooming Marvelous!

The London Children's Flower Society has awarded The Longman Cup to St James Junior Schools.  The award ceremony, in October, is to be held at The Old Library, Guildhall, London EC2. Mrs Thomlinson is thrilled for the children and grateful for the inspiring Mrs Douglas who nurtured the children's natural talent.

The First Day of the School Year

Wednesday 9th September 2009

The new school year got off to an excellent start. Mrs Thomlinson's assembly on New Beginnings and Love brought the school together and settled some first day nerves.

Pupils and teachers were reunited after the long summer break and having caught up on each others' news lessons began. The children in the Reception Classes started their school careers with much enthusiasm, which was lovely to see.
