Governors
The St James Junior Schools, Senior Girls and Senior Boys share a single governing body which meets as the Independent Educational Association Limited, a registered charity established in 1975. The governing body includes three former pupils, plus several governors who are or have been students of philosophy at The School of Economic Science. This presence on the board has helped to maintain the school's distinctive ethos during a time of rapid growth. The schools have grown from 40 pupils in 1975 to over 800 now.
Each St James School in London has its own governors' committee to oversee developments at that school. Chairman of the Senior Boys' Committee is Mr John Story, a parent of present and past pupils. He is assisted by Mr Aatif Hassan, a former pupil and successful businessman, plus the Headmaster and several senior members of staff.
