First Impressions Bobby (Year 7)
When I came to St James I was shocked by the kindness, caring and discipline of the other pupils. The building was big. The facilities were great and everyone was welcoming. It seemed like the perfect school and I soon realised that I was not wrong.
On my first day I was kindly welcomed by my teacher, Mr Saunders who was very kind. I was also nicely welcomed by the other pupils of my new class. Everything was going perfectly until I was called to the Headmaster's office and was told I would move class the next day. I felt like I would have to have my first day all over again. At the end of my first day I felt like I had been at the school for a year but was still worried about meeting my new class!
I soon found out that my new class was just as kind as my old one and my new teacher, Mr Wray was nice, kind, funny and helpful.
I have a very good overall impression of St James, in fact I cannot think of one bad thing about it. It teaches boys all they want to know including sports, languages, stillness and discipline. I think St James is a great school for learning, maturing and having fun and I would never ever leave it for any other school!
