New Sixth Form Centre to be developed at St James Senior Girls' School

St James Senior Girls' School is pleased to announce exciting development plans! We have just bought the site on which Avonmore Youth Centre is situated in Marcus Garvey Park, adjacent to the school. We plan to demolish the present structure and rebuild to create a new Sixth Form Centre which we aim to be completed by September 2014.
This development will also allow us to re-house the Year 11 classes within our main school building thus restoring the playground to its former size. Once the Sixth Form has moved into their new premises, we will also be able to establish a larger library, an additional science laboratory and increase the size of our Year 10 classrooms.
