OVERVIEW
Years 6 & 7:
English, Latin (from Year 7), Sanskrit (for pupils from Junior School), French, Mathematics, General Science, History, Geography, Art, Music, Singing, Drama, Dance, Philosophy, Biblical Studies, Needlework, Art of Hospitality and ICT.
Sport (in depth):
Athletics, Cross Country, Gymnastics, Health Related Fitness, Lacrosse, Netball, Rounders.
Years 8 - 11:
GCSE subjects*:
English Language, English Literature, Greek (by selection in Years 8 & 9), Latin, Sanskrit (for pupils from Junior School), French, Spanish, Mathematics, Physical Education, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art, Music, Drama and ICT.
*Some of these subjects are set against each other.
Non-examination subjects: Dance, Philosophy, Singing, Drama (occasional productions), Dance, Citizenship, PSHE.
Sport:
Aerobics (Year 11 only), Athletics, Cross Country (Years 8 & 9 only), Gymnastics, Health Related Fitness, Junior Sports Leader (Year 10 only), Lacrosse, local gym (Year 11 only), Netball, Rounders, Pilates (Year 11 only), Tennis (Year 11 only).
The Sixth Form:
AS and A-Level subjects are chosen from a matrix which offers pupils some flexibility between the traditional Arts/Science divide. Under the present post-16 system, most pupils would take four AS examinations at the end of the first year, with three of these subjects being continued at A2 level during the second year. Occasionally a girl may take five subjects at AS and four subjects at A2. Students may also undertake the Extended Project.

Extra-curricular programme:
During the Sixth Form we offer girls a wide-ranging programme which includes Citizenship, Philosophy, Debating, Drama (occasional productions), Dance and Singing.
Sport:
Aerobics, Athletics, Gymnastics, Health Related Fitness, Lacrosse, local gym, Netball, Pilates, Rounders, Tennis.
Futures:
There is a full programme of preparation for Further and Higher Education which runs from Year 8 through to the end of the Sixth Form.
Clubs:
Art, Book, Challengers, Chess, Classics, Drama, Dance, D of E, ICT, LAMDA, Lacrosse, Maths, Netball, Public Speaking, Rounders, Minerva Society (Science), three Orchestras and four Choirs.
