Head girl wins outstanding delegate award
Emily Labram (17) Head Girl at St James Independent School for Girls, Kensington, London has won an ‘outstanding delegate’ award for her work on the ‘Ecology and Environment Committee’ at the recent
Model United Nations Conference held at Reigate Grammar School.

Latest results: Emily (Yr 10) won the Gold Award, 4 girls won Silver, including Rhea (Yr 9), and 21 girls won Bronze Awards.
Yang Yang and Kimia, Year 13, won places on an Economics Summer School at Harvard University.
Kristen, Year 13, was awarded a Nuffield Science Bursary to work on a research team at Imperial College over the summer.
Eleanor, Year 7, has won first prize in the ISA Horsey essay competition.
Elizabeth, Year 11, won second prize in the ISA Favonius essay competition.
Years 10 and 11 visited Oxford for a Gifted and Talented conference.
Years 12 and 13 have attended Model United Nations conference held at City of London School, as Ukraine and Cuba respectively. Katya distinguished herself as the only delegate to speak without notes in her entertaining opening speech.
Activities Week included trips to the battlefields of France, the ancient sites of Greece, the wild hillsides of Devon and an orphanage in Romania, as well as field study in Northern Ireland and chocolate making in the Art of Hospitality kitchens. Year 8 Hospital Visit
Year 8 decided to support the children's ward of Ealing Hospital as their contribution to the school's community service programme. They raised £330 over two terms by holding several home-made cake stalls and by running a 'bob-a-job' scheme whereby they did jobs around the house for family and friends.
