Q. What time can the bar stay open until?

A.Your private bar can remain open until midnight.

Q. Can we bring our own caterer?

A. Unfortunately we do not permit other caterers if hiring our Main Dining Room or Boardroom, however if hiring our grounds for a marquee an outside caterer is permitted.

Q. Can we bring our own wine?

A. St James is fully licensed and has a perfect range of wine and champagne that complements the menu. However, should you wish to supply your own wine for the reception drinks then a corkage of £10.00 per bottle will be charged. A further £10.00 per bottle will be charged should you wish to provide wine for your wedding breakfast.  There will be an additional charge of £15.00 per bottle, should you wish to provide Champagne or Sparkling Wine.

Q. What time would the music be able to play until?

A. All music must finish at 12.30am.

Q. What colour is the table linen?

A. Standard white linen is included in your hire. You would be welcome to hire your own coloured linen if preferred however we would be happy to discuss this with you.

Q. Do you hold Civil Ceremony Weddings?

A. St James is licensed for Civil Ceremonies, please get in touch to discuss the options. However, couples must contact the Registrars Office in Weybridge to also confirm availability with them. Unfortunately, we are unable to organise this for you and cannot take responsibility for the failure of the Registrar not being booked. A separate payment will be payable to the Registrar upon booking with them.

Q. Is Confetti allowed?

A. Of course, we ask guests that they only bring biodegradable confetti or rose petals.

Q. Are candles permitted?

A. Due to it’s historic nature our building is very delicate. Please let us know your particular requirements  and we would be happy to discuss with you.

Q. Are pets permitted at the Venue?

A. Only assistance dogs are allowed in the building and grounds.

Q. How many car spaces do you have?

A. We have a maximum of 53 allocated Car park spaces. Some further parking can be provided if needed, please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Q. Are Chinese lanterns permitted?

A. Chinese lanterns are not permitted.

Q. Are battery fairy lights permitted?

A. Fairy lights are permitted.  As our building is extremely delicate, please make sure that they are not attached to any interior or exterior walls. We can discuss the possibilities with you.

Q. Is there disabled or wheelchair access?

A. Our Main Entrance, Dining Room, Chapel and toilet facilities are located on the ground floor. Where there are only two or three steps, ramps will be placed for easy access.

Q. Do we need to provide our own dance floor?

 A. Our Main Dining Room has flooring that is suitable for dancing, if you would like to have something a little different such as an LED dance floor we would of course welcome this.

Q. How many guests can be seated at the round tables?

A. A maximum of 8/10 guests can be seated per table.
