Last Wednesday the Y6 girls went to Redbridge Sports Centre to participate in the ISA Regional Netball Championships. They started the first game with (according to Miss Robertson)  a ‘mediocre win of 8-1’. The girls then really kicked it up a gear when they won their next matches 15-0, 9-0 and 8-2, putting St James through as top of the group. They then went on to win the quarter finals and semi-finals just as convincingly. After a whole day of netball the girls were starting to get tired but knew they had one last match to give it all they had to be crowned champions. Thankfully the girls dug deep to pull out  9-0 win against Gateway. This meant that not only were St James Regional Champions, but they scored a total of 66 goals and only conceded 6 throughout the whole tournament! To make the day even greater the Senior Girls U13 were also crowned Regional Champions.  As you can imagine it was an electric atmosphere, well done all for your fantastic efforts and achievements and making Miss Robertson very happy. We wish them the very best of luck at the ISA Nationals on 11th March in Warwickshire.
