School Life
Life at St James is brimming with academic endeavour, creative energy, curiosity and thoughtful discussion.
Pupils make the most of our central London location, with frequent trips to world-class museums and cultural venues. Guest lecturers also bring academic subjects to life, whether that’s an atoms workshop with Imperial College scientists or a Shakespearean workshop with actor Timothy West CBE.
Throughout the year, residential trips and Forest School outings give children an invaluable opportunity to become more independent and learn from the outdoor environment.
Our ethical education continues in the kitchen, where we prepare delicious, nutritious vegetarian food. Children in Years 4-6 can also follow a cookery syllabus created by the celebrated chef, Allegra McEvedy MBE.
