The workshop introduced students to Frantic Assembly’s distinctive approach to movement-based storytelling, challenging them to think creatively about physical expression in performance. Through a series of dynamic exercises, they explored trust, teamwork, and innovative ways to convey emotion and narrative without relying solely on dialogue.
This immersive experience not only deepened their understanding of Physical Theatre but also gave them valuable skills to apply in their GCSE Drama studies and future performances. The students left feeling inspired, empowered, and eager to incorporate their newfound techniques into their work.
A huge thank you to Frantic Assembly for delivering such an engaging and insightful session!
At St James, we feel it is important to introduce our pupils to stillness and allow them to discover how to be inwardly free and deeply at ease within themselves. A short period of 5-10 minutes at the beginning and middle of every day is allocated to quietude in which pupils may meditate, contemplate or simply be still – according to their own spiritual inclinations.
