Following training from The Guardian, our two fantastic Year 12 Media Students are ready to visit Year 7 and 8 classes and lead sessions on media literacy. This involves spotting fake news, how to find trustworthy news sources and identifying the use of AI. The boys have already led one session which was met with a fantastic response. The younger students really appreciate being taught by sixth form, and it helps spread the important message throughout the school. Congratulations to Harrison and Chris for this amazing achievement.

At St James, we feel it is important to introduce our pupils to stillness and allow them to discover how to be inwardly free and deeply at ease within themselves. A short period of 5-10 minutes at the beginning and middle of every day is allocated to quietude in which pupils may meditate, contemplate or simply be still – according to their own spiritual inclinations.
