Students took to the stage to showcase their acting, singing and dancing in an exciting production of Jesus Christ Superstar!

On Wednesday 3 December and Thursday 4 December, in collaboration with St James Senior Girls’ School, students delivered two memorable performances that powerfully told the story of Jesus’ final week of life, while capturing the spirit of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s legendary rock opera.

Reflecting on the production, Head of Drama Andy Camichel commented:

“Our students have shown remarkable creativity, energy and commitment in bringing this powerful story to life. From the first rehearsal to the performance, they have worked tirelessly, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they have achieved.”

Following the performance, Head of English Mrs Reid wrote: 

“Of course, the main highlight was the exceptional quality of the student performances. The whole cast and crew did a phenomenal job and staff, students and families alike could not be prouder.”

Mrs Lodder, a parent at St James Senior Boys’ School, also shared her praise: 

“The energy in the room was infectious,  and it was evident how much fun the boys were having on stage. We feel incredibly grateful that St James offers such amazing opportunities to explore passions beyond the classroom. These experiences are vital in helping shape well-rounded individuals and preparing them for future challenges and opportunities.”
