Shakespeare is one of my favourite things
I try to watch a number of new productions each year and greatly benefit from studying the plays at a deeper level. My favourite theatre out of London is the Watermill Theatre near Newbury; an old watermill converted into an intimate drama space. In recent years, the Watermill has offered a fantastic fresh take on the Bard, using imaginative physical theatre and rock music. Their productions have been superb.
Now ‘The Watermill Production Company’ is coming to St James with their award winning production of ‘A Mini Summer Night’s Dream!’ This magical play is a slightly shortened version of the original classic and will be performed in the Moot Hall on Tuesday 26th November at 6.30pm. This is a whole family event so parents and other family members are most welcome. All boys are required to study a Shakespeare play for GCSE and this will be a brilliant introduction to Shakespeare.
The cost will be £6 per ticket, to reserve tickets please click here. All payments will be made through parent pay once the tickets are reserved.
I know it will be a brilliant evening and I am very much looking forward to seeing you there.
