Football becomes the core sport for the pupils not involved in ‘Seven’s Season’ after the February half term in all Year groups. Pupils learn the core skills of ball control, passing, shooting, heading and tackling alongside developing their knowledge of the tactical side of the game. All their hard work will prepare them for the House Football competition which takes place at the end of the term.

For pupils who wish to play Football more competitively, there are extra-curricular clubs for all Years which focus more formally on skill refinement, tactical understanding and match preparation. Teams are fielded at U13, U15 and U18 level with fixtures being played against local opposition as well as at the Independent Schools Football Association National Cup.
