Running alongside Cricket during the summer term is Tennis, which is played by the entire school both during lessons and as part of the extra-curricular programme. Pupils are taught in small groups of similar ability to ensure that all can progress at their own pace, working through the core skills of serving, volleying and a variety of groundstrokes. Tennis is played extensively on a social level but places in the House tennis teams and eventually places in one of the 6 school teams are up for grabs, building up to the Independent Schools Tennis Association Cup at Eton College.
