GCSE

Girls are prepared for the IGCSE examination from Year 9 to Year 11. As girls continue their science education, the three departments aim to develop girls’ understanding of the link between theory and experiment as well as their appreciation of the contribution science makes to society. At the same time girls are encouraged to consider how scientific knowledge and evidence can be used responsibly for the good of society. The underlying principles that unify the sciences are explored, along with the inextricable ties between mathematics and physics, as girls mature in their understanding.
