For A Level, students are required to read widely from various sources such as Spanish newspapers, magazines, internet items and novels. Girls are expected to develop the spoken and written forms of the language in a range of contexts and to have an understanding of the countries where Spanish is spoken. Students will also develop an ability to analyse and apply information on a wide variety of social issues. Lessons are conducted in Spanish and students are encouraged to work independently.
It is strongly recommended that girls who choose to do A Level Spanish either take part in an exchange or spend some study time in Spain. We always help our students research and select the best possible option based on their personality and preferences.
