In order to meet the requirement of our admissions procedure, please send a copy of your daughter’s most recent full school reports. If your daughter has been assessed by an Educational Psychologist, has had any specialist assessment or has a known disability or allergy, you are required to submit the report (which should be no more than 2 years old) to the school with the registration documentation.

An email acknowledging receipt of the above documentation will be sent to you. This will outline when you should expect the next communication in relation to your daughter’s admissions procedure.

As part of the admissions process an interview will be arranged for your daughter either before or after the exam. On the same occasion, parents will be invited to meet the Headmistress or a senior member of staff.  In the event of a post-exam interview, where a candidate has not succeeded in achieving a minimum level of attainment in the examinations, parents will be informed that an interview will not be granted.

Please note that we will contact your daughter’s current school, or the school she last attended, to request a confidential report. Notification as to whether or not we are able to offer your daughter a place at St James will be sent to you as soon as possible after the examination and interview.

If your daughter is offered a place, you will be sent the School’s Terms and Conditions together with the Acceptance Booklet, the Medical Information and Consent Booklet, the Allergy sheet and Ethnicity Form, all of which must be fully completed and returned together with the Acceptance Deposit before the place can be confirmed.

If you would like any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Patricia Snowdon, Registrar, on 020 7348 1748 or admissions@sjsg.org.uk
