On Tuesday 14th May the Minerva Society screened 'One Girl', the award winning documentary by director Rosa Russo. The film movingly explores an ordinary day in the lives of four different girls from four different countries in the same meridian: South Sudan, Romania, Palestine and Finland. The film provoked much discussion about sympathy, understanding, our differences and crucially, our similarities.

The Minerva Society is a forum for invited voluntary speakers covering a broad range of topics including natural and social sciences, business, economics and the arts.
