The performing arts at St James Senior Girls’ School are thriving. Most of our productions take place in our assembly hall, fully equipped with lighting and sound, with a seating capacity of 300. We also collaborate on productions with the Senior Boys’ School. There are performance opportunities for all pupils every year.
Throughout the year there are opportunities to get involved with drama through LAMDA examinations, House competitions and Arts Week in the Spring Term. Year 8 also undertake a Shakespeare Project, culminating in participation in the Shakespeare Schools’ Festival in Year 9.
