On Thursday 23rd January we saw the play Ocean at the End of the Lane. This is a compelling and magical production full of light, wonder and darkness that creeps just below the surface.  The creature that the protagonists face resemble things that are barely distinguishable to the human mind, created only with rags, wood and plastic bags, representing the bad and decay in the world.

The production crafted the set and costumes to perfection, each reflecting the atmosphere of each character and location.  However, the true magic happened onstage; each actor displayed complex and original characters to which we quickly grew attached.  This is an amazing play and I recommend it to anyone who wants more wonder in their lives.
