On Tuesday 12th June, Year 7 pupils welcomed the elderly residents of Alan Morkill House in North Kensington to lunch and a very jolly occasion it was too! Without exception, the guests and their hosts thoroughly enjoyed the occasion: the hosts cooking, escorting, serving and the guests being looked after, amused, and entertained. Hosts and guests alike ate together while an excellent band from Year 9 played and sang a popular song. It is takes an enormous effort for a ninety year old to come to lunch but, without exception, every one of our guests felt it was well worth it. Thank you as always to Mrs Kuhrt and Mrs Brown who masterminded the excellent cooking carried out by Year 7.
