Staying at home hasn't stopped us from sharing our love for our pets and so Zoology Club has moved online. The club meets on Thursdays and two members introduce their pets and talk about their personality, needs, characteristics of the breed and answer a few questions about them. So far, pupils' guest pets have included the Norwegian cat of one of our Year 7 pupils, with teachers' guest pets including seven long haired guinea pigs and a Pomeranian puppy called Mally.

We have learned that guinea pigs can be very sociable when they are used to being handled and their favourite food is dandelion. We have also learnt that puppies require plenty of sleep, as Mally sleeps most of the day. Pomeranian dogs are very sociable animals but they need constant attention. Next week, a Zoology Club member in Year 7 will be introducing us to her pet rabbit!
