From Miss Inglott

I am delighted to inform you that on Friday 15th March, we will be fundraising for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. The event also coincides with Feel Good Friday, whereby the children will learn about the work of Comic Relief and how they can support those who are less fortunate.

The children will need to wear their school uniform; however, red noses will be sold in school for £2.00 and can be worn on the day. Red noses can also be bought prior to the day via the Comic Relief website. Children will need to bring money into school to buy a red nose, but any other donations can either be given to your child’s class teacher or via the QR code and link below. This will take you directly to the Red Nose Day Just Giving page.

Thanks to your donations, Comic Relief is able to support amazing projects and organisations that are making a difference for people across the UK and around the world. More information on how donations are spent can be found on the Comic Relief website.

The Pause

At St James, we feel it is important to introduce our pupils to stillness and allow them to discover how to be inwardly free and deeply at ease within themselves. A short period of 5-10 minutes at the beginning and middle of every day is allocated to quietude in which pupils may meditate, contemplate or simply be still – according to their own spiritual inclinations.
