How long have you been at St James?
I have been at St James since I finished university, in 2013.
What do you love about your job?
I love how excited the children get when they play certain games, especially when a team is losing, and they come back to win.
Favourite subject at school:
My favourite subject at school was PE but just like most of the children at St James I also hated cross country. We had to run from school to the sports ground and run back after the games session. Although it was tough, it has done wonders for my stamina today.
What is your favourite movie?
I don’t have a favourite movie as such, but I do love Morgan Freeman films.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I play a lot of netball both socially and for a regional team. I also love watching sports with my friends. I am a big Man Utd and Harlequins fan.
Do you have any hidden talents or fun facts?
I wouldn’t say it was a hidden talent, but more a proud achievement. Last month I won two netball awards: players’ Player of The Year and coaches’ Player of The Year.
What animal do you identify with?
Hmm. I would say a monkey. They’re always on the move and I loved climbing trees when I was younger.
Wise words:
My wise words would be: there is a sport for everyone. It may be an individual sport or a team sport but when you find it: enjoy it and continue it for as long as you can.
