Today, the entire St James community is celebrating International Women’s Day.

International Women’s Day is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. For us, it is a day not only to acknowledge these accomplishments but to celebrate in the empowerment that our single-sex environment offers.

At St James, we recognize the importance of creating a space where our young women can learn, grow and thrive without the constraints of traditional gender norms. Our commitment to single-sex education is rooted in the belief that such an environment allows our students to embrace their authentic selves, pursue their passions without inhibition, and develop the confidence to take on leadership roles in various spheres.

This year’s theme of “Inspiring Inclusion” encourages us to reflect on the strides we’ve made in creating a more equitable society and to continue championing inclusivity in all aspects of life.
