From talks by Oxbridge speakers to student finance help, mentoring from our alumnae and parent network or work experience opportunities, your careers journey can be as unique and personal as your learning one.
We work hard to ensure our Sixth Form students fully develop their aptitudes and interests. Information, advice and guidance are offered through a comprehensive programme of UCAS and overseas university applications induction, Higher Education seminars, assemblies, university visits and tutorial support.
In order to assist you in making informed choices, we offer psychometric tests and a well-stocked Higher Education and careers resources section in the Sixth Form Centre and online. Our Head of Careers is always available for individual advice and guidance and can connect you with alumnae at a wide range of universities and employers.
Careers information is delivered through the diverse ‘Wider Perspectives’ programme on Friday afternoons, including sessions on CVs and interview preparation, financial literacy and talks by a range of inspiring alumnae and professionals.
Our ‘Survive and Thrive’ programme will provide you with a ‘tool kit’ of essential skills for university via workshops on budgeting, careers, first aid and cooking nutritiously on a budget.
Throughout their Sixth Form career students use higher education platform, Unifrog, to help them research their courses and manage evidence in support of their application. Our leavers progress to a wide range of destinations, including Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities, fine art foundation courses and gap year programmes, or move straight to employment. In recent years, we have had a growing number of applicants to universities in the USA and Canada. We are passionate about helping you stdents discover what you love and we are extremely proud of our leavers’ destinations.
