Futures inspiration, information and advice is an integral part of our PSHE curriculum throughout a pupil’s journey at St James, and whole-class learning is complemented by assemblies, individual guidance, a range of external speakers and opportunities.

As pupils move through the school this extends to provide meaningful employer engagement, offering the chance for pupils to work on a real-life project alongside professionals.

Through research, visits and speakers, pupils develop the skills and understanding to prepare them for work experience and mentoring in the senior years in conjunction with our extraordinary alumnae network and opportunities to interact with leading employers.

Our new ‘Explore Your Future, Experience Your Future’ programme inspires and supports our pupils to discover a pathway as individual as they are.
