Fees & Bursaries

St James offers a balanced education where creativity, academic success and spiritual well-being walk hand-in-hand.

We aim to untap the brilliance in every girl, for a deeper learning experience, and brighter future. One where they can be their best selves in all they do.

We are committed to broadening access to the school by offering eligible parents or guardians bursaries to help with school fees. Bursaries are awarded on a means-tested basis and can cover up to 100% of fees, depending on need.

Fees

Fees for the 2023-2024 academic year are as follows:

£8,065 per term

Lunches (vegetarian) are provided free within the basic fee.

Registration: There is an initial registration fee of £125 which is non-refundable.

Acceptance Deposit: There is an acceptance deposit of half a term’s fee (whole term’s fee for non-UK residents). This deposit is then credited back as a bank transfer

Fees are payable in full by the first day of each term. All fees are to be paid by direct debit unless otherwise arranged with the Bursar.

Please see St James Schools’ cancellation notice and form here.

For monthly payment, the school has an arrangement with School Fees Plan. More information is available here..

Bursaries

All current parents, and parents who have completed their registration for admission are entitled to apply for a bursary. St James uses an external company to provide an independent review of individual circumstances. This review will include a home visit.

Parents who wish to apply for help with fees must confirm to the school no later than the last Friday in the November prior to the academic year of entry.

If you would like further information about the process, please email the Bursary Secretary on bursary-applications@stjamesschools.co.uk.
